Здравствуйте. Я бы хотела поехать au pair в Японию. И мне интересно узнать, это вообще реально? И если да, то через какие агенства? Потому что, как я вижу, большинство едет в Германию, США... А про Японию абсолютно ничего нет..

Dear au pair
Dear Au pair,
We are a Japanese-German family, currently living in Kobe, Japan. As both parents are working, we would like to have an au pair among us, which could be a big sister to our son and be part of our family.
If you are open-minded and would like to live with us in Kobe, you are welcome to join us. The earlier, the better, as we are looking for an au pair for some time now.
Rika Leonie, some more questions:
Will the au pair be required to drive? No
Will you require the au pair to help with light housework? Yes
Do you mind if the au pair smokes? Yes
Do you smoke? No
Have you had an au pair before? Yes
The au pair is required to care for disabled children? No
Single parent family? Yes
Rika Leonie, please tell us about your family
We are a family of three: father, mother and child. Due to job reasons, mom lives in Japan with the son, while dad stayed in Germany. As we are living with some slight distance from each other, dad travels to Japan several times per year, and mom and the boy back to Germany. This might not be easy, but somehow works out. Skype does help a lot. Our son - Max - is quite talkative in German and started to learn English now as well. Sometimes, we are looking for a switch to "turn him off", but we did not find any yet. But lucky enough, there are also times, when he starts reading books and play with his toys. He does concentrate a lot on what he is doing and in those moments, for a change you may even forget that he is around. He is of course a wonderful child - at least from the parents' point of view.
Rika Leonie, What do you expect from your au pair?
The most important thing is of course Max. If he is taken care of, that's perfect. Apart from that would it be great, if you could help out in the household. As we are most of the time a "single-mother-household" and mom is pretending to be a "career woman" there are always household-related "left-overs" where we need help, such as ironing, laundry, vacuuming..... Fortunately, our apartment is not too big (95 square meters)..... You will of course have your own room, and we think it is quite nice. Max loves to jump on your bed from time to time which he is NOT supposed to do.....
